Meet our veterinary team!

Dr. Satowski was a high school valedictorian, earned her DVM with honors from the University of California, Davis, and has over 35 years of veterinary experience.

Prior to receiving her doctorate, she graduated with honors from California State University, Fresno with her Bachelor’s in biology. She also completed coursework for her master’s in zoology and was accepted to the University of Hawaii for a combined master’s/doctoral degree.

At UC Davis, she worked in the Nuclear Medicine Department on their oncology registry. She also worked with CT scans and on the Feline Iodine 131 Project.

Prior to opening up her own practice, she did veterinary work for animal rescue stations in Fresno County, as well as the Chaffee Zoo in Fresno, CA.

Dr. Satowski is licensed to practice medicine in California, South Carolina, and Washington, and carries a Federal Class II veterinary permit (allowing her to provide international transport certificates to exotics in addition to dogs and cats).

At home, Mariah enjoys life with her two children and a variety of pets, including several cats, a dog, and a leopard gecko—reflecting her lifelong love of animals.

She shares her home with two dogs, a Golden Retriever named Sunshine and a Yorkshire Terrier named Sebastian—who inspire her passion for veterinary medicine every day. Outside of work, Amelia enjoys spending time with her pets and unwinding with her favorite TV shows.

Leah has worked in veterinary medicine for 5 years. She has a background in exotics/wildlife animals as well as extensive experience in general practice with dogs and cats.

She is most passionate about client education, compliance & believes that it is very important that owners fully understand their pet’s medical care.

In her free time, Leah likes to spend time with her birds – BMO & Goose. As well as volunteering in wildlife rehabilitation.

Outside of work, Ritz produces music, plays the bass, drums, and other instruments and stays active through volleyball and chasing around her two cats and three dogs. She also enjoys crocheting, volunteering, spending time with her loved ones and furry friends, and collecting new hobbies.

After getting married to her husband, she moved to California and continued her journey in veterinary medicine. She is passionate about helping animals of all species, big or small, and loves knowing that her work can make a difference in their lives.

Yasmine’s favorite part of veterinary medicine is caring for animals and helping them feel safe and comfortable. She also enjoys the excitement of never knowing what kind of animal will come through the door each day. She is excited to continue learning and gaining more knowledge and experience as she grows in her career.

Outside of work, Yasmine enjoys spending time with her cat, chickens and playing video games to relax.

Outside of the clinic, Madison has a strong interest in marine biology and conservation. She has volunteered with field response teams assisting dolphins and manatees throughout South Alabama and Florida, experiences that have further strengthened her interest in marine animal medicine. She hopes to continue expanding her education and experience with marine animals throughout her career.

In her free time, Madison enjoys spending time outdoors with her two dogs, Shiloh and Gibson. She loves visiting the beach, sunset walks, surfing, cooking, snorkeling and looking for seashells. Her favorite part of veterinary medicine is making a meaningful difference in the lives of animals and being an advocate for their health and well-being.

Her professional interests include dentistry, radiology, surgery, venipuncture, anesthesia, behavior, and client education. Growing up around horses and livestock through FFA, she originally planned to work with farm/large animals, but quickly discovered a passion and unknown natural skill for small animal medicine. She especially enjoys helping fearful or fractious patients feel more comfortable while providing compassionate, high-quality care.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband & family and their 2 year old Cane Corso, Zilla. Whether it’s trying a new restaurant or relaxing with a good movie, she is happiest making memories with the people (and pets) she loves.
